Sandstones

The most popular family for CNC relief carving in India — fine, even grain that responds beautifully to deep relief, sacred motifs and warm interiors.

Gwalior White Mint Sandstone

A premium light-toned sandstone known for its fine grain, even colour and excellent CNC carving response — our preferred material for renders and showcase pieces.

Best for renders Fine grain Indoor

Ivory Sandstone

Warm, neutral tone with a sacred aesthetic — the most popular choice for mandir backdrops alongside Gwalior Mint, carving cleanly for deep relief work.

Mandir backdrops Warm tone Indoor

Yellow Sandstone

A warm golden hue that suits heritage motifs and traditional Rajasthani design language — workable for relief carving with a distinctly warm finish.

Golden tone Heritage motifs Indoor & Outdoor

Red Sandstone

A deeper, earthy tone historically used in Rajasthani architecture — well suited to bold relief and exterior elements with a strong visual presence.

Marbles

Marble requires more careful tooling due to its crystalline structure, but rewards that care with the finest, most delicate patterns — ideal for jali screens, calligraphy and premium feature walls.

White Marble

The classic choice for delicate, intricate patterns — jali lattice work, calligraphy and fine botanical reliefs that need crisp, precise detail.

Jali screens Calligraphy Premium

Vietnam White Marble

Premium imported marble with consistent veining, used for high-end feature walls and murals where colour uniformity across large panels matters.

Limestones & Slate Veneer

For contemporary interiors that want sophistication without the carved-relief look — flatter textures, deeper tones, and lighter-weight options.

Grey Limestone

A sophisticated, contemporary tone well-suited to interior feature walls that favour subtlety over ornamentation.

Contemporary Interior

Black Limestone

A bold, dark tone for dramatic contemporary interiors and accent walls — pairs well with gold inlay and backlighting for contrast.

Dramatic accent Interior

Slate Veneer

Thin slate sheets for accent walls and textured surfaces where weight is a concern — a lighter-weight alternative to full-thickness stone.

Lightweight Accent walls

Hard & Exterior Stones

Dense, low-porosity stones for facades, elevations and humid or coastal climates — built to perform outdoors for decades.

Granite

Dense and weather-resistant with wide colour and pattern variety — best for exterior facades and modern geometric designs.

Exterior facade Modern geometric Weather-resistant

Quartzite

Extremely durable and low-porosity — generally harder than granite, ideal for exterior elevations and humid or coastal environments.

Extremely durable Humid climates Exterior

Basalt

A dense volcanic stone suited to exterior cladding and elevation panels in demanding climates where long-term durability is the priority.

Questions About Stone Materials

We work with 12 natural stones: Gwalior White Mint Sandstone, Ivory Sandstone, Yellow Sandstone, Red Sandstone, White Marble, Vietnam White Marble, Grey Limestone, Black Limestone, Slate Veneer, Granite, Quartzite and Basalt. Each is selected for its CNC machinability, durability and aesthetic qualities.
White Marble and Ivory Sandstone are the most popular choices for interior feature walls — both carve cleanly, accept fine detail and have a refined, timeless appearance. Gwalior White Mint Sandstone is ideal for intricate carved murals. Grey Limestone suits contemporary minimalist interiors.
Granite and Quartzite are the most durable stones for exterior applications — both are highly resistant to weathering, rain and UV exposure. Sandstone (especially Gwalior and Ivory) is widely used for exterior facades across India due to its natural weather resistance and UV stability. Marble and Limestone are better suited for sheltered or interior spaces.
Sandstone is slightly more porous and easier to carve at depth — ideal for large murals, temple backdrops and intricate jali screens. Marble provides a finer, smoother finish and is preferred for figurative work and polished surfaces. Both are CNC-compatible; the choice depends on design complexity, finish preference and installation environment.
Yes. We provide 150mm × 150mm material samples for your shortlisted stone type and finish. Samples can be requested via WhatsApp or through our Architects page. A nominal courier charge applies for outstation deliveries. We recommend reviewing samples in your actual project lighting conditions before finalising.
Yes. The majority of our stones are sourced from Rajasthan and nearby quarries — Gwalior Mint, Ivory Sandstone, Yellow and Red Sandstone are all regionally quarried. This reduces supply chain length, supports local stone workers and ensures material traceability from quarry to finished panel.
